BAKER, HAGEN, THOMPSON posted by Dru West on Wednesday, August 26, 1998

I am looking for the family (siblings/parents) of HILMER HAGEN, born August 26, 1884 in Morris, Minn. The family history is believed to be that he was orphaned at an early age and was out on his own at an early age. Mother may have been HANNAH BAKER, and father A. (Austin?) HAGEN. Family lore says that Hilmer's siblings all have dad's middle name. Believe he may have been Norweigien who immigrated. Family lore states that original family name was THOMPSON, but that there were so many Thompsons that the name Hagen was used. It is possible that Hagen was a maternal family name. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
