Seeking immigration information on Peter Brown, married to Bridget Larkin,as to whether they came from Ireland through Canada. They settled in Shieldsville area in mid-1800's. Son John Brown who married Sarah McDonough. They had three sons, Edward Brown, John (Jack) Brown and Leonard Brown. Leonard married Mary Ellen O'Brien from Kilkenny, MN.
Ella Jane Boon went to Minnesota between mid 1850 to 1875, probably. Do not know married name. Was matron at Minnesota School for the Deaf. Where was school located? Ella Jane died in 1916 at Faribault. Daughter or granddaughter could have been Ella Mabel Werner, born in Lake Park, MN in 1906, died in Omaha 1980.

I am searching for any information on William S. RUSSELL, who was living in Northfield at the time of the James/Younger gang's bank robbery attemt. He and his father had also lived in Dakota County. The other individual I am seeking information on is Henry PADELFORD. It is my understanding that he farmed around Northfield, eventually selling his farm and buying a business in Northfield, selling that and eventually ended up owning a hotel in Northfield. My meager information tells me he was a hotel owner at the time of the James/Younger gang's bank robbery attempt. I would appreciate any information on these two people and their families. Jensine Caroline Jensen, 1854-1938, married John Nelson, 1848-1919, in 1873; emigrated from Kristiansand, S. Norway in 1873. They had 11 children: Andrea (Roisum); Bernhard; Emma (Huseby); Christian; Olga (Berdahl); Andrea Matilda (Bonde); John; Margaret (Staley); Obert; Thomas; and Nels. Jensine was the daughter of Borre Andreas Jenssen, a carpenter; and Andrea Thomine Olsdaughter, his wife. Jensine's sister, Borea Johnson, was my great grandmother. I am interested in correspondence with descendants of John & Jensine Nelson.
