Peavey, Main St. Faribault, Minn.; 5 of them have no markings at all, 5 are taken in Peterson Studios, Faribault, Minn.; 3 of them say Mueller Owatonna, Minn.;1 says Hoerger 404 N. Main St. Faribault, Minn.;1 says Fleckenstein , Faribault, Minn.; 1 says Bowe & Groethe, Morristown, Minn.; 1 says M. F. Kelley Crescent Studio, 1111 E. St. Tacoma, WA, and 1 says Atelier=Moderne Marius Christensen Dags-OG Kunst-Lys Amagertorv 19. Kobenhavn.k. Please help me get these pictures home. Thanks.

Just recently started to research my Nerbovig roots. It is a very uncommon name. I do know that five brothers immigrated from Norway. One brother Mathias is my gggrandfather. Specifically I am looking for a John Nerbovig who is my grandfather. I have unable to find any record of him. I am searching for my ancestors who may have lived near Dundas in Rice County. I need marriage records which are not in the court office and wondered if there was a Brethern Assembly group still meeting in this area. James Arther Reed was from St. Paul married Ruth Spencer Brandt from Roscoe 11-24-1909. They met at a Bible conference at the Brethren youth camp in 1909.

Flink Of Star Lake Dies at age 92 Early live spent as Sailor; Came From Sweden Sixty-three Year Ago Simon E. Flink 92, of Star Lake, died Wednesday morning at 5 O'clock at the home of his son, Alex near Erhard. Mr. Flink was born in Stockholm, Sweden July 18 1855 and spent his early years as a Sailor. He came to this country in 1885 locating at Phillips Wis.., where he married Anne Johnson. Eleven years later they went to Elbow Lake. In 1918 they move to Star Lake. Mrs. Flink died in 1934. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Wm. Johnson (Ella) of Westboro, Wis. and Mrs.B.C.Bowen(Agnes) of Corpus Christi Texas and two sons, Ed Flink on the West Coast and Alex of Erhard. Funeral services will be held Saturday at two o'clock at the Olson-Glende Funeral home with Rev .Wm. Dyleen Officiating MRS. FLINK DIES AT STAR LAKE Date 1934 Resident of star Lake For 16 years Dies at the age of 84 years. Mrs. Annie Johnson Flink, Wife Of Simon E. Flink, died Monday evening at her home in Star Lake township. Death was due to hardening of the arteries and complications due to her advanced age. She had been ill since Christmas. She was born in Sweden and was 84 years, six months, and 12 day old. Her marriage to Gus Johnson took place in 1870 in Sweden. 12 years later, in 1882 they came to the United States and settled in Wisconsin. The following year, 1883, Mr. Johnson was killed in a log drive. On June 15. 1885 she was married to Simon E. Flink at Ogema, Wis. They resided in Ogema until 1897 when they moved to Grant County Minnesota, where they lived until 1918, and then moved to Star Lake, this county. Mrs. Flink is survived by her husband, one daughter and three sons. The children are: Gus Johnson, the son by her first marriage; Alex Flink of Star Lake; Edward Flink of Oklahoma, and Mrs. Agnes Bowen of Independence, Mo. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 P.M. Form the Presbyterian church in Maine, Rev. Stickney Officiating, Burial will be in the Silent Vale Cemetery.

I am looking for the descendents of my Grgrfather, JOHN LEARY,who lived in Faribault in the 1860s-1899. He owned a livery stable then and later his sons took it over and it became Leary's Tire Shop from about 1910 -1930.The building still stands. I believe John had a brother named FLORENCE LEARY. John's wife was named Mary and/or Eliza Hand. Florence's wife was Mary McLaughlin and his daughter Mary married Wm. Morgan from Faribault. John's children were Wm.,Athur,Tim,John,Mary, and Katherine. I sure hope one of our cousins sees this!
