HULL, LOUDEN, PALMER, PERKINS posted by Sheri Baker on Saturday, November 11, 2000

Seeking information on the family of James Emos and Olive Perkins Palmer who resided in Faribault for a period of time.. He may be known as Emos James and I believe he died prior to 30 JUL 1929, the date of his daughter's death. Olive's name at that time was Hull. James and Olive were born in New York. Their daughter, Mary Janette "Nettie" Palmer was the second wife of William Samuel Louden of Washington County. Her siblings are Lillian, Herbert and Wilbur R. Mary Janette's obituary indicates the family lived in Faribault prior to the Hinkley fire. They may also have lived in the Prescott, WI area.

COLEMAN posted by Tom Gerber on Tuesday, November 28, 2000

I am looking for information on the Coleman family. Bridget Coleman born July 4, 1869 in Shieldsville MN. Married Joseph Lahiff June 19 1889 - in Minneapolis I believe. Her parents are: James Coleman and Bridget McGinnis. I have very little information on Bridget C. before her marriage - in fact the Minneapolis Archdiocese were unable to locate a marriage record so perhaps they were actually married in Shieldsville? Does anyone have information on this family? Is there Catholic Church records I could write for? I would like to locate her baptism records and death records of her parents - I do not know the year they died. Thanks

HARRISON, LAFOREST posted by E. J. Carroll on Tuesday, November 28, 2000

1860 Census lists R.N. Harrison and Harriet L. Harrison living in Chatfield, Mn on a farm. They had two children, my grandfather, Eugene, and a younger brother, Clarence. Trying to find what R.N. stands for and if he was related to the presidential family as my mother always said. He was born in New York about 1805 and Harriet there in about 1836. She was later living in River Falls, WI in 1885 but husband was deceased by then. If any other Harrisons know of this branch of the family, please contact me at EJCSierra@aol.com.
